Why this blame game?

No one should neither support nor be ashamed to oppose the ‘Manusmrithi’ that is available in today’s market. Whatever version you take and who ever may be the author of it, clear discrimination and cruality towards lower castes in book would really make you annoy and boils your blood being a human. It’s true that no one will neither support nor accept those laws which are sentenced against lower castes as per the book ‘Manusmrithi’ in today’s generation.

In the same time showing this so called today’s version of ‘manusmrithi’ and sentences and discrimination mentioned in that book to the lower classes, blaming whole Hindu community that they have incorporated all these cruel laws against lower castes as per book from indigenous times of Hindu literature would be utter wrong from any individual side.

Please have a look into these below truths

1. ‘Manu smrithi’ available in today’s market is different from the original ‘Manu dharma sastra’

2. Manu’s references and his dharma was given a high quotes in Ramayanam and mahabaratha. Kalidas’s great writing ‘Raghuvamsam’ quoted Sri rama’s ancestors from ‘SuryaVamsa’ followed and ruled their kingdom based on laws given in ‘Manudharma Sastra’

NASA’s recent finding on Raama Sethu(Adam’s bridge) clearly states that Rama existed before 7 thousand years. Even many historians dated kurukshetra war to 3102 B.C. which is 5 thousand years back to present day, shows that Manu dharma was very popular from several years.

3. Now let’s talk about ‘Manusmrithi’ of today’s market. Many historians from many countries stated different opinions on this book. Some of them say it is written during 2000 B.C. and some say it is from 3rd century A.D., so if we calculate on an avarage this transcript is not older than 4000 years from today.

4. Let us look into authenticity of this ‘Manusmrithi’ which is 4000 years old,

Over fifty manuscripts of the Manusmriti are now known, but the earliest discovered, most translated and presumed authentic version since the 18th century has been the “Calcutta manuscript with Kulluka Bhatta commentary”. Modern scholarship states this presumed authenticity is false, and the various manuscripts of Manusmriti discovered in India are inconsistent with each other, and within themselves, raising concerns of its authenticity, insertions and interpolations made into the text in later times.

[ Wikipedia , quoting Patrick Olivelle in “Manu’s Code of Law”, Oxford University Press ]

We can cleary see real ‘Manusmrithi’ is hampred by so many people so many times according to their perceptions. So this book which is available today is clearly a kichidi from many writers.

5. ‘Manu dharma sastra’ is neither like shariat law of Islam nor like Indian penal code of law , it’s just a book of dharma sutras but not book of sentences to convicted. There is not even one historical evidence that manusmrithi was official and only penal code of whole Hindustan. Penal codes for convicted used to vary from race to race, villages to townships according their own traditions and their own thought process ancient Bharath, there used to be no same laws for whole country.

6. ‘Manu smrithi’ is not like Ramayana and Bhagavad-Gita which are sacred texts of hindus. Hindu religion never declared it as a official penal code in its existence of 4k years. This is just a code of dharma sutras, but not code of law in any of the times. There are dozens of dharma sastras to Hindu society like yagnyavalka smrithi, gowthama smrithi.

क्रुतेतु मनुवः प्रोक्तः
त्रेतेयम् गोउथमः स्म्रिथिः
द्वापरे ष्हन्क लिखितो
कलोउ पराषर स्म्र्रिथिहि
Kruthethu manuvaah proktaah
Treteyam gowthamah smrrithihi
Dwapare shankah likhitau
Kalou parasahara smrithihi

The above poem says what smrithi to follow in what Yuga, it says manu smrithi for krutha Yuga, gowthama smrithi for treta Yuga, shanka likhita smrithi for dwapar Yuga and parasahara smrithi for Kali yuga. So no conservative elder
Too doesn’t say to follow Manu smrithi in kaliyuga, so how much can one justify blaming whole hindu community to these writings?

7. There are very less evidences found of hatred against sudras and dalits, or about the ill-treatment of lower classes and women in mythological ages or in vedic times.

Many such instances stated by psuedo seculars and so called intellectuals for blaming Hindu community on I’ll treatment of lower classes are stated below

A) lord Rama killed sudra shambuka because he was doing meditation which is not dharma of sudras

B) Guru drona asked thumb of aadivaasi Ekalavya as his guru dakshina

C) Karna was abused all along his life for being suta(one of lower classes)

D) Harishchandra sold his wife

E) Dharmaraaja used his wife Draupadi as pawn in gambling

F) Raama has sent his wife Sita to forest

Are these scenarios not related to individual and individual instances according to their own lives? Showing these instances it would be very silly make generalised conclusion that every king during that age killed sudras; Every tribal offered his thumb to learn archery; Every sudra was Ill-treated on his caste; Every husband sold his wife for money; Every king led his wife as pawn in gambling; and men used to send wives to forest if they get doubt on them.

There are never such instances mentioned in mythological books or in ithihasas or any of the history books like Bramhins used to pour lead in ears of sudras if they listen to vedas, or cut their tounges because they read vedas.

In such case, just because we are seeing those in-human and cruel penal codes in today’s version of manusmrti, how can one justify blaming whole Hindu society for these deeds of Ill-treatment against women and lower classes.

Just because some instances of cruel acts during modern era against lower classes by higher classes, how much justified it is to blame whole Hindu community as ill-treater and maniac against Dalits and sudras, in same way how can you justify blaming ‘Manu smrithi’ for some incidents happend in Hindu society??

(Next: what is hidden? What is Manu dharma Sastra?)
